What We Do
The Mooring Master & Ship Pilots Association Of Nigeria provides pilotage services to all foreign flag vessels and Nigeria vessels under register (regulated vessels) entering or departing the Nigeria Port, as required by Nigeria law.
Our History

And for centuries, captains have relied on locals familiar with the ports currents and hazards to guide them safely to shore. Or that the Nigeria Ship Channel is one of the narrowest and busiest ports in Africa?

While members are entitled to expect us to advocate the professional interests of pilots, MMSPAN relies on its members to give us direction. The Executive recognises that strong membership is the key to the success of MMSPAN, and will enable us to continue to be a respected voice in the Maritime industry.
